Mr. Goodie Ibru

Goodie Ibru is a veteran in the Business World, he pioneered businesses and has been a champion leader for diverse companies in the last decades. The immediate Past Chairman of Ikeja Hotel Plc – owners of Sheraton Lagos Hotel, as well as the Chairman of the Tourist Company of Nigeria Plc, Gremlin Nigeria Limited (a subsidiary of Ikeja Hotel Plc) which acquired 51% equity stake of Capital Hotels Plc, owners of Abuja Sheraton Hotel, under the privatization Programme of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He is also the Chairman of Capital Hotels Plc.

Goodie Ibru was the President of Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) between 2011-2013 where He commenced the publication of the Nigerian Business confidence index (BCI). President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (1997-2000). He is the immediate past Chairman, Board of Trustees, and Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria.

He is the Honorary Consul of the Consulate of Lithuania to Nigeria. He is Executive Vice-President (West African Chapter), African Business Round Table (ABR). Mr. Ibru is a past President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (1997-2000). He is the immediate past Chairman, Board of Trustees, and Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria. He is the President of Nigeria Ethiopia Business Association and also the President of Nigeria Russia Business Council. He is also a member of several social and professional organizations, and he is happily married with children.

Mr. Kyari Bukar Abba

Abba Kyari a transformational business expert, he served as Managing Director/CEO of Central Securities Clearing System, Plc. (CSCS). During his five-year tenure, he spearheaded a company-wide program of culture change, instrumental to the transformation of CSCS from an entity that held a dysfunctional paradigm to a successful organization that resulted in a fourfold increase in profitability in the midst of the most recent global economic crises.

As Managing Director/CEO of ValuCard Nigeria Plc (now Unified Payments System), He initiated a complete re-organization of ValuCard, transforming the local e-payments loss-generator into one of the most secure, technologically advanced and profitable payments processors in the region. Abba Kyari was instrumental in introducing Visa cards into the Nigerian e-payments space and writing the rules that have underpinned the phenomenal growth in the sector.

Abba Kyari is a sort after business adviser, served as Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, Equity Assurance Plc and Ventures Platform (Tech start-up Accelerator). He is also a non-executive director at Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Ltd. Abba Kyari holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria and an M.Sc. degree in Nuclear Engineering from Oregon State University, USA. He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School (LBS), Wharton Business School and Harvard Business School, USA

Prof Ndubuisi Ekekwe (MBA, PhD)

Prof. Ekekwe is a vast Knowledge based Educator and Impresario of business, he holds two doctoral, four master's degrees and a PhD in electrical & computer engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, USA and MBA from University of Calabar, Nigeria. He obtained B.Engr. from Federal University of Technology, Owerri where he graduated as his class best student. A US semiconductor industry veteran, his working experiences include Diamond Bank, Analog Devices Corp and NNPC.

In Analog Devices, he worked in the team that designed a generation XL for the iPhone and he created the company's first wafer level chip scale package for inertial sensor. He blogs at Harvard Business Review, and previously served in the United States National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center E&D Committee for four years.

Prof Ekekwe is a Co-Chairman/President of JPL Financial, a California-based financial advisory firm. An inventor, author, he held professorships in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Babcock University, and Carnegie Mellon University electrical/computer engineering. He is the recipient of IGI Global 2010 "Book of the Year" Award. He is also a TED Fellow, "IBM Global Entrepreneur" and World Economic Forum "Young Global Leader". Prof. Ekekwe is a selection board member of the $100 Million Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program and Chairman of FASMICRO Group which is a holding company that controls his family businesses.

Bar. Olufemi Omotoso

Olufemi Omotoso is a legal and Business Development Professional with Multi-Skills for tracking Entrepreneurial and Life issues. He has served as both a Lawyer in the private sector in the United Kingdom and as a Business Development Professional over a period of 26 years. His Business Team has successfully implemented projects and secured investments into Africa in various industries including Oil and Gas, Real Estate, Media and Hospitality Sectors.

He earned a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Law from the North England University of Wolverhampton and proceeded to the University of Thames Valley to earn his Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. He has attended numerous Professional courses in Business Administration and Management Consulting and sits on the Advisory board of Global Companies such as Manage Aid Incorporated in UK, DEO whistler Inc and Innovate Africa. He is a Chartered Management Consultant with the Chartered Institute of Management Consultants in Canada.

Experienced in Global Business development, Project Management in Oil and Gas, Real Estate, Entertainment and Leisure. His core interest areas include Research and Analysis, Team building and Project implementation. He has dealt successfully with numerous difficult business downturns and setbacks; written and spoken extensively at business seminars on a wide range of legal and business subject matters. He is referred to by colleagues as a Turnaround Specialist. His interest includes Human development and global politics. He also desires to see African nations develop their full potentials economically and socially. A deep strategic thinker and pragmatic professional, he loves in his pastime to play music and observe nature and engage in arts. He has run numerous radio and television programs on Business Development. He continuous to impact the Global Youth with relevant skills and motivation to emerge as the true Leaders of tomorrow.

Gbenga Bamiji is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with expertise and speaking capacity in the areas of Emerging markets and emerging economy, Breaking new markets, Assurance, Finance, Internal audit outsourcing, Risk management, Business development, Policy management, Leadership, Strategy, Market and Business Intelligence and Customer Insights Analysis for business decisions.

Gbenga Bamiji is the Founder/CEO Bizfrontiers Nigeria, a thriving frontier that engage in strategic leadership for the entire group towards creating brand values. He is also the Director, Innovation, Strategy and Business development with Fasmicro group USA/Nigeria.

He was also senior commercial Manager-west Africa for Glo mobile Telecommunication LTD turning a cost-center to an investment center with projected revenue achieved within set timelines for over Ten (10) Projects. Prior to this, Mr. Gbenga was Head finance and Project management Moto media Africa Limited with key achievements in Maximum reduction of operational cost via a cost effective digital outdoor platform into the Nigerian out of Home industry-OOH. Between the period of 2008-2011, Gbenga Bamiji was a Senior consultant (Audit/risk Business process) Protiviti member firm east& Africa He Holds a Accounting and Finance. Ambrose Ali University and an MBA in the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University.

Comfort has also facilitated numerous Business Strategy sessions, consulted for over 500 businesses, conducted several Investment and retirement management sessions for staff of top organizations in Nigeria such as Nigerian Ports Authority, Access Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Union Bank, Future View Financial Services, Standard Alliance Insurance, and several faith-based organizations etc.

Comfort is a graduate of Statistics from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, with a PGD from the University of Wales, she holds certificates in Negotiations of Financial Transactions and Capital Market Development from the United Nations Training Institute UNITAR. She has attended several courses both locally and international and currently an advisor to various Business Membership Organizations (BMOs), a Mentor on the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurs Foundation (TEEP) and the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) as well as a Faculty Member of the Daystar Business Academy.
